Heavy Rain

So I spent practically this whole weekend alone. (well, not entirely but I found myself alone a good majority of the time)

Hanging at a bar with EJ and Andy, going to Jourdan's place for beer and games. Michele's birthday dinner and chilling with Joyce for a few hours.

Aside from that, I had a bit of good leisure time alone. The thought of it now being Monday and having school tomorrow scares me. Anyways, I found a bit of interest in something at the moment.

I have never experienced a video game as intense and emotionally driven until I played this game, Heavy Rain.

To make things short, a child has been kidnapped by a killer and you have 3 days to stop the boy's death.

The game asks the question of "How far are you willing to go in order to save a life". One crazy thing I had to do was crawl on top of broken glass to get through a tunnel...freakin' crazy.

So its a deep game and I hope to finish it soon. Next thing this game tells me to do is cut off my own finger. CRAZY

inFAMOUS

So Best Buy had a PS3 video game sale (buy one game at $59.99, get another game for 50% off).

I couldn't decide on a second game so Alfonso and I struck a deal and decided we save a good amount of money by buying the games we both wanted and split the price. Good move.

So I purchased inFAMOUS while he chose Batman Arkane Asylum.

My verdict on this game is: Assassin's Creed on steroids.

This game is jam packed full of action, suspense and mindless destruction. Okay, maybe not mindless but it allows you to choose between becoming a hero or a villain.

I'm running around destroying zombie like creatures and saving people on the brink of death with my electrical CPR powers. Yes, I'm choosing to be the hero first.

Anorexic Playstation 3

I figure I have a few minutes before heading off to work to make a blog.

Yesterday, Sony announced the confirmation of the Playstation 3 Slim.

As the owner of its obscenely obese brother, the original Playstation 3 (mildly retarded due to the lack of backwards compatibility), I just gotta say one simple thing.

...I want it.

Maybe I'll get it through a trade-in if the price was right.

Frustrating!

MagiKRAP

The single most frustrating Pokémon to ever grace a Nintendo portable handheld system!

Simply put, 2 hours gone from my ventures into Platinum.

Good game by the way.

Can't wait to see Soul Silver and Heart Gold in the fall.

...At least it knows Tackle -.-"

UPDATE 1:59 AM

Finally evolved!

UGHHHHHHHHHHHH

I'm going to bed

Update 2:07

Now that I look back on that Magikarp picture, I have a friend with the exact same look as that. It's pretty cute when she does it ^.^

Restaurant City

Without a doubt, Restaurant City is the most addictive online game I have ever played since Gunbound.

It amazes me how much a simple little flash game that combines the antics of The Sims and the cute graphics of Cooking Mama can create such a fun and addicting game.

For those that don't know, Restaurant City is a flash application game hosted on Facebook that allows you to operate a restaurant by letting the player obtain certain ingredients to create food dishes and also upgrading them in order to speed up restaurant improvements.

These improvements include adding an extra worker or increasing the size of the restaurant internally.

What I found most addictive was how competitive things can get when your Facebook friends create a restaurant. Sometimes I can't help but to pass by a friend's restaurant and try to become so far ahead in points that they could not possibly keep up at my rate.

It's a crazy fun little game that I don't recommend getting addicted to.
